remember...

Your business is important, but so are you. Don't forget to take time for yourself and for your family.

frequently asked questions

Q.    How can you help my business?

A.    I can help in several ways! I can write copy that is both creative and persuasive. Copy that will not only speak to your existing customers, but also grab the attention and interest of potential customers as well. I can craft your copy to be used in print advertising (newspapers, magazines, direct mail, etc.), broadcast advertising (radio & TV), or other applications (brochures, presentations, sales letters, etc.). Should you choose broadcast or another application requiring voice over, I can provide the voice to bring the copy to life. I can also provide custom music for your commercials, presentations, etc., that will give your business its own distinct, recognizable sound.

Q.    Why should I use your services?

A.    Why? For a few reasons, the main one being that I am committed to taking care of you and your business. I enjoy what I do, I'm honest, I'm very easy to work with and, at the risk of sounding a little conceited, I'm good at what I do. Also, for those of you in the Northwest Arkansas area, I'm your customer. I shop in your store and eat in your restaurant; I use your products and services every day. Supporting businesses in the region is good for the local economy and promotes a sense of community.

Q.    What are your rates?

A.    Since every project is different, my rates vary; however, it's important for you to know that if you are working with a limited budget, I will work with you to make your project affordable. I do not rely solely on voice work to pay my bills, so I have the ability to be somewhat flexible. My goal is to provide you with a project you can be proud of at a price that is fair to both of us. Isn't that the way all businesses should be? I invite you to contact me so we can discuss the details of your project.

Q.    What is copy?

 A.    Simply put, copy is written subject matter. It can be in the form of a print ad for publication in a magazine or newspaper, or it can be a written script for a radio or television ad. Whatever form it comes in, copy is what tells potential customers about your business.

Q.    Can I write my own copy for you to use in my voiceover?

A.    Certainly. I will also evaluate your copy for free to make sure it sends your message, reads logically, and is free of grammatical errors.

Q.    Why do I always lose a sock in the dryer?

A.    Ah, I get this question a lot. Theories on the "missing sock" phenomenon range from kleptomaniacal gnomes and dwarfs raiding the dryer to small rodents with unusual tastes in bedding. To be truthful, I don't know which theory is correct; however, I will share with you my personal solution to the problem. When I do laundry, I automatically add an extra sock to the load.

Q.    How do I receive my finished project?

A.    I can give you your project in several ways. It can be sent via email (size permitting) or placed on a CD as a WAV, MP3, OGG, or AIFF file and sent to you snail mail or overnight. Whichever is most convenient for you.
